We are looking to appoint a highly motivated, organised, and experienced School Business Manager to oversee the financial, administrative, and operational aspects of this school. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective running of the school. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as an SBM:
Lead on financial planning, budgeting, and resource management.
Manage HR processes, payroll coordination, and staff recruitment support.
Oversee premises, health & safety, and facilities management.
Lead on procurement and contract management to ensure best value.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and support strategic decision-making.
Line manage office and support staff, promoting a positive and productive working environment.
Ideal SBM:
Proven experience in school business management or a similar leadership role.
Strong financial acumen and understanding of school funding streams.
Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills as an SBM
Proficient in using financial management systems and Microsoft Office.
Understanding of safeguarding, GDPR, and health & safety procedures.
Relevant qualification (e.g. CSBM, DSBM, or equivalent experience).
