Position Summary

Why Join our Team?

This role sits in the European Office (EO) Brand Team, which has regional responsibility across Europe. We work at the heart of our marketing efforts across brand, product, and channels, ensuring Samsung is a desirable brand for consumers. The team’s responsibilities focus on four key areas:

* Improve Go To Market success for EU16 & EO by influencing & shaping Suwon marketing strategy & creative approach across all our Smartphone & mobile ecosystem products (e.g., watches, buds, tablets) and Consumer Electronic devices (e.g., TVs, Sound Bars, Domestic appliances).
* Devise regional partnership opportunities that connect Samsung with core audiences (e.g., Gen Z) and passion points (e.g., Music, Gaming, Film).
* Develop EO-led campaigns & initiatives that align with European Office priorities while protecting & enhancing the Samsung brand.
* Drive retail strategy and execution across Europe.

This role is part of the Brand Strategy & Campaigns team and reports directly to the Head of Social Strategy and Analytics. Our social channels are a core strategic focus for the business and are integral to our marketing plans across Europe. We have ambitious growth plans and require a dedicated individual to help craft strategic direction, develop analytics tools, and execute action plans.


Role and Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities:

* Under the guidance of the Head of Social Strategy & Analytics and in collaboration with Go-to-Market teams, help elevate Samsung’s social marketing performance across Europe.
* Provide robust analysis to generate insights, mentorship, and recommendations for immediate fixes or long-term initiatives.
* Deliver weekly, monthly, and ad hoc campaign performance reports—highlighting trends, findings, and audience behavior.
* Monitor regional trends, benchmarks, and platform algorithm changes across Europe, providing timely insights to content and strategy teams.
* Collaborate with regional GTM and subsidiary social teams to contextualize insights considering linguistic, cultural, and behavioral nuances.
* Analyze social media performance across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube), identifying actionable insights.
* Use Sprinklr for managing dashboards, tagging, and automated reporting across European markets.
* Evaluate influencer and earned content performance with Traackr, identifying emerging voices and amplification opportunities.
* Integrate data from internal and proprietary tools for a comprehensive performance view aligned with marketing KPIs.
* Use insights from owned and third-party data to inform action plans and prioritize improvements in collaboration with regional teams.
* Conduct post-level analysis to test content hypotheses (formats, timing, messaging).
* Contribute to the development of social measurement frameworks and best practices.
* Develop clear recommendations for channels and markets to improve overall performance.
* Provide expertise to support EU16 markets in analytics and tracking challenges.
* Ensure all recommendations align with Global Brand Strategy and Visual Identity.
* Stay informed on privacy regulations (GDPR) and platform compliance across European markets.

What we need for this role

To succeed, you should have:

* Proven experience using social analytics to drive impact, preferably in a regional or global role or agency environment.
* Expertise with Sprinklr for tagging, listening, tracking, and reporting.
* Experience with Traackr or similar influencer analytics tools.
* Familiarity with internal reporting tools and multi-source data integration.
* Strong understanding of social KPIs and content performance metrics.
* Excellent presentation and influencing skills.
* Ability to translate complex data into strategic insights for diverse audiences, including senior stakeholders.
* Attention to detail and strong communication skills.
* Self-motivated with proactive problem-solving skills.
* Comfort working independently and collaboratively.
* Fluency in English; additional European languages are a plus.

* Increased influence with Suwon and subsidiaries through data-driven insights.

The Interview Process

Expect a two-stage interview:

* First with the hiring manager and a key stakeholder, including a live task using key tools.
* Second with the hiring manager and a director, providing broader context about Samsung European office and the role.
