Your Role
As a Vehicle Technician in our Reading team, you will:
* Mechanical Repairs: Carry out essential servicing, braking, steering, and transmission repairs.
* Advanced Diagnostics: Use modern automotive software to identify and resolve complex mechanical and electrical faults.
* Technical Support: Work alongside Senior Technicians to tackle high-level fault diagnosis and engine work.
* Safety Inspections: Perform thorough vehicle health checks and maintain accurate technical documentation.
* Quality Standards: Deliver "first-time fix" quality, ensuring high engineering standards and customer satisfaction.
* Workshop Culture: Maintain a clean, safe, and professional workspace within our collaborative team.
What You Need
* Qualifications: Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred).
* Experience: Minimum of 18 months workshop experience (we are happy to have a flexible discussion based on your skills).
* Driving: A full UK driving licence is required.
* Tools: Your own vehicle repair tools are preferred.
* Mindset: A strong interest in diagnostics, a reliable work ethic, and a desire to progress to Level 3 or Master Tech status.
