They are seeking to appoint a specialist Psychology teacher from January 2026 until at least the end of the academic year, with a permanent contract at stake for the most suitable applicant.

Ideal Applicant Specification
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Ability to teach up to A-Level Psychology
* Strong subject knowledge and experienced delivering exam preparation
* Excellent behaviour management skills
* Strong, positive school based references from previous employers
Roles / Responsibilities
* Plan a range of engaging Psychology lessons in line with the requirements set out within the national curriculum
* Regularly assess students' progress, providing them insightful feedback to support their successes towards their exams
* Provide extra support for those students who require it - particularly focusing on students who may have special educational needs
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment which encourages all students to grow and learn
* Collaborate with colleagues within the department to ensure it is a success

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
