This role is part of the IMRDS alliance (integrated maintenance, repair and development services), who maintain the water supply systems, repairs emergencies like water bursts and develops new ways to better service customers.
Responsibilities
* As an Assistant Field Technician, you'll be working within the leakage team, who use equipment to listen underground to detect for water leaks.
* Deploying water leakage equipment to listen underground to detect leakage noises from pipes so that data can be used to plan works across the region
* Reading and interpreting water maps to then transfer data to your tablets
* Interacting with customers on a daily basis
Qualifications
* No experience required, we will provide you with full training. You must hold a full driving licence and we will provide you with nationally recognised training such as EUSR water hygiene, blue card, streetworks and manual handling training certifications, in order to successfully carry out the role.
