Kirkbymoorside Permanent Salary on application On site with some travel We are seeking a skilled Systems Integration/Commissioning Technician for integrating, commissioning, and testing complex electrical and electronic systems, ensuring they meet the required standards before delivery to customers. Key Responsibilities Perform commissioning and integration of electrical and control systems. Work closely with customers to support and complete factory acceptance testing (FAT). Provide technical support both on-site and in the field, including occasional offshore work. Maintain and service integration test areas and associated equipment. Collaborate with engineering teams to review test specifications, identify issues, and suggest improvements. Assist with troubleshooting, repairs, and in-house fault finding. Participate in an on-call technical support rota once suitably trained. Skills and Experience Essential: Strong technical understanding of electronics, hydraulics, and/or computer systems. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and procedures. Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness and ability to travel and work offshore when required. Desirable: ONC/OND in Electrical or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent). 16th/17th/18th Edition electrical regulations. Experience with system integration, testing, or commissioning in a technical or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with continuous improvement practices. Additional Information Full-time, permanent position based in Kirkbymoorside.
