About the role Position: School Youth Worker (full time, temporary) Location: Blackburn Salary: £444 - £500 per week (dependent on experience and/or qualifications) Start date: September 2025 The School and Role We are working in partnership with a mainstream secondary school in Blackburn, seeking a dedicated School Youth Worker to support young people aged 11 to 16 who are facing challenges linked to SEMH needs. This role is ideal for someone passionate about inclusion and youth support, with the ability to build positive relationships and promote student engagement both inside and outside the classroom. You will play a key part in helping students access education, improve their emotional wellbeing, and achieve positive outcomes. You’ll work closely with the pastoral team, SEND department, and classroom staff to offer tailored support and interventions, both one-to-one and in small groups.
