GSL Education are seeking a dedicated Early Careers Teacher to join schools in Doncaster. This role provides the opportunity to deliver engaging lessons, support pupil progress, and develop professionally with mentoring and guidance from experienced staff.
Responsibilities
* Support Workers/SEN Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in York, supporting students with complex needs, including Autism, non-verbal communication, and SEMH profiles.
* Deliver engaging lessons and activities where applicable, and contribute to a positive learning environment.
* Support a range of students with complex needs, including ASC and SEMH profiles, as part of the school’s SEN teams.
* Assist in primary school settings and, where applicable, support pupils across different year groups.
* Collaborate with mentoring and guidance from experienced staff (for Early Careers Teacher roles).
Qualifications and qualities
* Experience as SEN Teaching Assistant or Support Worker is preferred.
* Ability to work with students with Autism, non-verbal communication, behavioural needs, and SEMH profiles.
* A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs, even if you have not previously worked in education.
