About Our Team

The Older Peoples Mental Health team is co‑located within the wider CPFT older people mental health services. We work closely alongside our health colleagues to achieve positive outcomes for people with severe and complex mental health difficulties. We are a small supportive team consisting of a team manager, senior practitioner, social workers, support worker and peer support worker. Our office is at CityCare Centre in Peterborough, and we also work from home.


Requirements

* Current registration with Social Work England
* Post‑qualifying experience of 5 years or more
* Knowledge or experience of working with individuals with severe and complex mental health illness
* Full driver’s licence and ability to travel between locations
* Experience of line management or supporting others
* Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) or willingness to complete this training as it is a requirement of the role to be on the AMHP rota
