Job Description Analytical Development Scientist Location: Huddersfield Rate: £18.91 per hour Contract Length: 6 Months Role Purpose Provide measurement science to generate and improve manufacturing processes for new and existing products through improved understanding. Support manufacturing processes and projects to meet business targets. Utilise laboratory and plant information efficiently to identify improvements and implement change in line with good change‑management principles and procedures. Accountabilities Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver analytical aspects of process development and manufacturing support. Remain up to date with scientific developments and proactively identify opportunities to apply them to project work. Plan, manage and conduct non‑routine chemical and physical analysis, analytical development, and process analytical technology projects to support new and existing manufacturing processes. Provide expertise and advice in Analytical Chemistry to both local and global teams under guidance of the Specialist Team Leader. Support development of other scientists in analytical techniques and best practices. Use knowledge and experience to improve safe ways of working in partnership with Departmental Safety Leadership teams.
