Red Bull UK is currently recruiting for a Regional Account Executive - Sports & Fitness to be based in the South of the UK.
As a Regional Account Executive, you are the eyes and ears of the brand, ensuring Red Bull is available and visible in key locations so consumers can find us in their moment of need. Specialising in fitness, you'll be responsible for making sure consumers pick up Red Bull in gyms as part of their fitness routine.
You will identify, target, win, manage, and nurture relationships with independent and small chain gyms in your region. Your goal is to ensure Red Bull is seen as No.1 in every gym, encouraging trial and helping Red Bull become the leading energy drink in fitness. This involves creating and prioritising a pipeline of relevant and credible gyms, immersing yourself in the scene, and building strong relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders.
This role is not a regular 9-5 sales position. If you love creating strategies and seeing them through from start to finish, and enjoy engaging with the local fitness scene, then this role is for you.
Responsibilities:
1. Business Development: Build a fitness database aligned with Red Bull’s and regional priorities. Identify opportunities to increase Red Bull’s availability and win new accounts. Implement regional activations with various teams to make Red Bull top of mind and drive sales.
2. Contact Strategy: Establish effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including regular reviews. Use contacts within the fitness scene to create brand awareness and education, turning contacts into brand advocates. Maximise your contact matrix to enhance Red Bull’s availability and visibility.
3. Fitness Strategy: Develop a regional strategy to grow distribution in fitness outlets, aligning with the national sports strategy and local trends and opportunities.
4. Regional Groups: Manage multiple operating and franchise groups, engaging with key decision-makers. Build joint business plans to unlock new distribution channels.
Ideal Candidate:
* Passion and experience in the fitness industry, with understanding of venue operations.
* Track record of achieving targets.
* Strong skills in communication, negotiation, and objection handling.
* Ability to craft compelling stories with insight and commercial awareness.
* Excellent customer relationship management skills.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
