Overview
SF Partners are working with a well-established business based in Sutton Coldfield to recruit a Senior Management Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to join a supportive finance team in a varied role with strong exposure to management reporting, business partnering and financial analysis.
You will play a key role in the preparation of monthly management accounts, budgeting and forecasting, and providing financial insight to support decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting
* Support the preparation of year-end financial statements
* Cost analysis across nominal ledger accounts to support management reporting
* Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
* Balance sheet reconciliations and investigation of variances
* VAT reconciliations and preparation of VAT returns
* Support stock and inventory reconciliations
* Assist with financial controls and reporting processes
* Partner with internal stakeholders to drive business performance
* Provide general financial support to the wider finance team
About You
* Qualified CIMA / ACCA
* Previous experience within a management accounting or similar finance role
* Strong Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
* High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
* Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
* Experience with ERP systems such as SAP would be advantageous but is not essential.
