API and LCNC Architect Remote (UK-based) | 6-Month Contract (extension based on performance, ongoing project) About the Role We are seeking an API and Low-Code/No-Code (LCNC) Architect to lead enterprise-wide integration initiatives. This senior technical role blends traditional integration architecture expertise with modern LCNC and iPaaS platforms, enabling faster digital transformation, automation, and secure system connectivity across cloud, on-premises, and third-party applications. Key Responsibilities Architecture & Strategy Design end-to-end integration blueprints and roadmaps. Evaluate and recommend LCNC and iPaaS platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, Microsoft Power Platform). Define API strategy, including design, development, and management standards. Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions. Design & Development Create detailed technical designs for integration flows, API logic, and data mapping. Provide technical leadership for developers and citizen developers using LCNC platforms. Design, develop, and deploy APIs with gateways and management platforms, ensuring robust security and versioning. Monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot integration processes for performance and reliability. Governance & Standards Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and governance for LCNC and API development. Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements. Mentor and train teams on integration patterns, LCNC tools, and API architecture. Maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation for ongoing knowledge transfer. What We’re Looking For 10 years of experience in API and LCNC development. 3–4 years in an architect-level role. Deep knowledge of integration patterns, API architecture (REST, SOAP), and microservices. Expertise with at least one major LCNC or iPaaS platform. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven leadership in large-scale integration projects within agile environments. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Why Join Us?
