? CHILDREN’S RESIDENTIAL SUPPORT WORKERS REQUIRED ? ? Derby | Full-Time Permanent & Bank Opportunities Available I’m currently recruiting for a number of Residential Support Worker positions within highly specialist children’s residential homes across Derby. These are NOT standard residential childcare roles. The service supports children and young people with highly complex trauma, mental health needs, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and DOLS-supported placements. The homes operate using a therapeutic care model focused on reducing restrictions, building independence, and creating long-term positive outcomes for young people. The progress being achieved within these homes is genuinely incredible. One young person has progressed from requiring 3:1 staffing to now thriving on 1:1 support, with restrictions successfully removed. Another placement currently operates on a specialist 3:1 staffing model alongside clinical mental health support due to the complexity of the young person’s needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who genuinely wants to make a difference and be part of a service delivering transformational outcomes for children. ? We are looking for: ? Level 3 Residential Childcare qualified staff (or working towards) ? Experienced Residential Support Workers ? Candidates from transferable settings including EBD, CAMHS, SEN, mental health, youth work, supported accommodation, and care environments ? Compassionate, resilient, and therapeutic-focused individuals ? Drivers preferred ? Opportunities Available: ? Full-time permanent positions ? Bank / flexible staffing roles ? Career progression opportunities ? Specialist therapeutic environments ? Growing organisation with additional homes progressing through registration Homes are based across: ? Mickleover ? Oakwood ? Additional Derby location If you are passionate about supporting children with complex needs and want to work within a genuinely therapeutic environment where positive outcomes are achieved every day, I would love to speak with you. ? john.deane@servicecare.org.uk Please feel free to like, comment, share, or message me directly if you may be interested or know somebody suitable ?
