CLASS 2 DRIVER Tuesday - Friday: Start times 06:00 £14.58 per hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Benefits As a Class 2 Driver you will receive the following benefits: Excellent Hourly Rates Ongoing Work Weekly Pay Onsite Canteen Immediate Starts Employee Well-being Program Rates of Pay: Basic: £14.58 per hour Day to Day Duties Your duties as a Class 2 Driver will involve but not be limited to: Delivering flooring products to customers Operate and drive various Class 2 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly Adhere to traffic laws and regulations Report any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Assist with loaded and unloading of cargo as needed Essential Skills As a Class 2 Driver you will need to: Hold a valid UK Category C / Class 2 Licence Have a minimum of six months experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card Must be able to speak and read a good level of English Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills Have a good understanding of traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Experience driving any commercial vehicles would be beneficial Previous experience in multi drop experience will be beneficial Training Industry related training and ongoing support throughout Apply If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below People Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment process
