Overview
The Women in Business programme is designed for school students in Year 12 (England and Wales) / S5 (Scotland) to raise awareness of a career in Audit or Tax. You’ll learn about EY’s Business Apprenticeship programmes and explore the business areas of Audit and Tax under the guidance of empowering colleagues. Across two days you’ll learn about the work our apprentices do and the impact they have for our people, clients, and communities.
Designed to help you decide if an EY apprenticeship is right for you, this programme is a gateway to EY’s apprenticeship opportunities, with potential fast-tracking to some 2027 apprenticeship opportunities.
What You Will Be Doing
* Take part in on-the-job case studies, business skills sessions, and networking with current apprentices.
* Have access to senior role models within the business.
* Attend workshops with business leaders.
* You could even be fast-tracked onto one of our 2027 apprenticeship opportunities.
How It’s Structured
Get a taste of the real working world with our two-day insight programme:
* You’ll attend a one-day virtual event as well as a one-day in-person event hosted in one EY office in London, Leeds, Edinburgh or Birmingham. We are expecting to run this programme in April 2026 (8–9 April).
Please note you will be able to apply to any of our office locations but we advise you to apply to the location where you would want to be employed in the future. You will then be invited to the in-person office event at one of the selected locations nearest to you.
For the in-person event, EY will cover reasonable travel costs for you to get to the office. There are no overnight stays for these events and we advise applying only to locations that are within a comfortable commuting distance.
