PE Teacher / General Cover
Smile Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in Staffordshire to recruit a PE Teacher / General Cover Supervisor. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a school known for its positive ethos, supportive leadership, and commitment to both staff and student wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience is advantageous)
* Plan, deliver and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum
* Promote teamwork, resilience and a positive attitude towards physical activity and healthy lifestyles
* Provide general classroom cover across a range of subjects when required
* Maintain high standards of classroom behaviour and ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
* Uphold all safeguarding and school policies consistently
To Apply / Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience in a secondary school setting
* Experience teaching PE at KS3 and KS4
* The ability to adapt and deliver lessons across a variety of subjects when providing cover
* Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* A proactive, flexible, and positive approach to teaching and learning
* A genuine passion for promoting physical education and student wellbeing

* Daily rate of £90-120
