We are seeking a skilled Finance Transactions Manager to take a key role in overseeing the transactional finance function. As Finance Transactions Manager, you will:
1. Take ownership of accounts payable, accounts receivable, rent accounting, and cash management processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
2. Lead, support, and develop a small team, fostering motivation, high performance, and cohesion.
3. Ensure timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts, month-end closing, and reporting of key financial metrics.
4. Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisers, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
5. Drive process improvements, implement KPIs, and maintain robust internal controls.
6. Oversee VAT, banking, and financial system operations to ensure integrity of data and compliance with regulations.

The successful candidate will:
7. Be a CCAB-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or equivalent experience.
8. Have experience managing transactional finance teams, delivering complex reconciliations, and driving process improvements.
9. Possess strong VAT knowledge, ERP system experience, and advanced Excel skills.
10. Be a confident communicator, able to present financial information clearly to colleagues at all levels.
11. Demonstrate leadership skills and a hands-on, proactive approach to problem-solving.
