About the Role
We are recruiting a compassionate, reliable, and hands-on Support Worker to join a specialist SEN provision in Leeds. This setting supports children and young people with a wide range of complex needs, including physical disabilities, medical conditions, autism, PMLD, communication difficulties, and sensory processing needs.
Pupils in this provision require a highly structured, patient, and nurturing environment. Many are non-verbal or pre-verbal, use alternative communication systems, and may require full assistance with mobility, personal care, and daily routines. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about inclusive education, therapeutic support, and helping young people access a meaningful, personalised learning experience.

Key Responsibilities
1. Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with complex SEN, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, global developmental delay, and PMLD.
2. Assist with feeding, mobility support, hoisting, and personal care routines (full training provided).
3. Support pupils’ physical and sensory needs using specialised equipment, sensory activities, and movement-based programmes.
