About the Role
Compliance Chain is seeking a passionate and driven Product Manager to lead the growth and evolution of our Social Value Management solution – a software product that supports public and private sector organisations to plan, monitor and report on social value across projects, whilst evidencing and maximising their impact.
This role is central to driving the product's commercial success, ensuring it remains competitive, reflects the latest policy requirements, metrics, and reporting standards. Acting as the key link between clients, the product team, and senior leadership, the Product Manager will shape development through close engagement with users and by anticipating market needs.
With a strong focus on growth and increasing sales, this role ensures our Social Value Management function continues to meet customer needs while expanding its reach and impact across the sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the strategic development and roadmap of Compliance Chain's Social Value Management module.
* Drive sales growth by delivering tailored product demonstrations and presentations.
* Build strong relationships with social value managers, contractors and public sector clients.
* Gather insights and feedback by facilitating workshops, roundtables, and focus groups to in order to validate product direction and shape future enhancements.
* Collaborate with development, design, and marketing teams to translate sector requirements into intuitive, high-impact digital tools and ensure strong product positioning.
* Stay ahead of policy updates, frameworks (e.g. TOMs, National Social Value Measurement), and industry best practices to keep the product competitive and aligned with industry standards.
* Support client engagement throughout onboarding and adoption.
* Identify opportunities for innovation, integration, and growth within the social value space.
* Track and report on sales performance, pipeline activity, and customer engagement to inform strategy.
* Collaborate closely with the marketing and development teams to ensure product positioning and resources align to enhance client success.
Skills & Experience Required
* Experience in Social Value Management, Bid Writing, Framework Bids, or Public Sector Procurement.
* Strong understanding of social value measurement methodologies and their application in real-world projects to translate complex policy requirements into practical software solutions.
* Proven ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
* Experience in SaaS product development, digital platforms, or transformation initiatives (preferred but not essential).
* Strong communication, facilitation, and relationship-building skills.
* Familiarity with different social value reporting tools and leading social value metrics frameworks (e.g. National TOMs, SEQM, bespoke client measures).
