Overview of the Position: We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Catering Chef Manager to join our team at Stack and Still, within Glasgow Airport. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your leadership skills to a fast-paced environment where service excellence and a passion for food are at the heart of what we do. We are thrilled to be moving to a new and more central location within the airport across from Starbucks, where we will have 100% of passing airport passengers. This is an unusual position, as it covers food prep and cooking as well as customer interaction and order taking. Primary Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and inspire our team to consistently deliver outstanding customer service and high-quality pancake creations. Oversee daily operations, from managing kitchen processes to ensuring stock levels are maintained, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for both the team and customers. Develop and implement strategies to upsell and promote our products, encouraging customers to indulge in the full Stack and Still experience. Maintain strict adherence to food safety regulations and quality standards. Efficiently manage staffing schedules and monitor performance to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring consistent quality and service. Your Background: Proven experience in hospitality management with a solid background in back-of-house/kitchen operations. Strong leadership abilities with a natural knack for engaging with both customers and team members. Demonstrated ability to meet sales targets and thrive in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. Excellent attention to detail, especially when it comes to maintaining high food safety and operational standards. Due to the location of this role, candidates must be able to commute during airport operational hours (3am to 6pm in summer and 4am to 3pm in winter) and provide 5 years of employment references to secure an airside pass.
