The role
As an Electrical Technician, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—supporting the British Army by maintaining and repairing military vehicles and equipment. This is your chance to make a real difference, contributing to national security while developing your skills in a dynamic and purpose-driven environment.
Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:
1. Diagnosing, inspecting, and assessing vehicles and associated electrical equipment
2. Servicing, repairing, and overhauling electrical systems to the highest standards
3. Completing all documentation and test reports in line with current regulations
4. Recording job transactions accurately using ERP systems
5. Ensuring correct use of tools and returning unused or faulty materials promptly
You'll work 37 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, based on site at Bovington. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly impact operational readiness and safety.
Essential experience of the Electrical Technician:
6. Previous experience in a similar electrical maintenance or technician role
7. Strong understanding of vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics
8. Comfortable working to technical specifications and safety standards
Qualifications for the Electrical Technician:
9. Level 3 qualification in the Regulated Qualification Framework (RQF) or NVQ (e.g. Advanced Apprenticeship, Level 3 VRQ/NVQ)
10. 18th Edition Electrics Qualification

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
