At Derwent, we are searching for an experienced Senior Care Practitioner to help guide our care team and support residents in living happy, healthy and independent lives. If you have experience in care and have previously helped supervise a team, this could be the perfect role for you.
What’s the job about?
As a Senior Carer, you’ll combine hands-on care with supervisory duties. It’s about ensuring that every resident receives the very best care while mentoring and supporting your colleagues to be their best.
* Coaching and mentoring your team so they’re confident and skilled in every part of their role.
* Supporting residents with a range of personal care needs, while maintaining dignity, respect and privacy.
* Ensuring every resident has a comprehensive and up-to-date care plan, and ensuring your team follows it.
* Dispensing medication with accuracy and care, keeping detailed records as you go.
