As a MOS Operative, you will work on Traffic Management Schemes for various projects. Your primary responsibilities include manual control of traffic light systems on-site to ensure smooth traffic flow and monitoring site conditions. You may also assist qualified operatives to ensure efficient job execution while maintaining high Health and Safety standards. Flexibility is essential due to the nature of the role.
This role is suitable for individuals who enjoy working outdoors in a physical environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Understand safe working methods and best practice procedures.
2. Learn to carry out risk assessments and prepare method statements related to traffic management works.
3. Ensure all activities follow established procedures, and report areas for improvement to your line manager.
4. Assist with daily vehicle checks to ensure cleanliness, safety, and maintenance.
5. Promote a positive company image through appropriate attire, attitude, and site cleanliness.
6. Assist the public by directing them safely around the site when required.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
Training will be provided in the following areas:
* Experience and Qualifications: You must have a valid UK Driving License.
