Skills & Knowledge Required
* Strong expertise in Microsoft security and compliance technologies, including:
* Microsoft 365 Defender / Security Portal (covering endpoint and identity protection)
* Microsoft Purview (data governance and compliance, including the Compliance Portal)
* Hands-on experience with Microsoft-based security environments is essential; general cloud security experience (e.g., AWS) alone is not sufficient for this role
* Demonstrated experience in identifying, remediating vulnerabilities, and applying patches within live production environments
* Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, threat landscapes, and risk mitigation strategies
* Practical experience across endpoint, network, and identity security within Microsoft ecosystems
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex security issues
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholders
