Description
The Accounts Assistant will be expected to:
* Processing Invoices
* Matching, batching, and coding purchase invoices
* Ensuring timely and accurate data entry into accounting systems
* Bank Reconciliation
* Reconciling bank statements with internal records
* Investigating and resolving discrepancies
* Accounts Receivable
* Managing supplier payments and customer receipts
* Chasing outstanding debts and maintaining aged debtor reports
* Data Entry & Record Keeping
* Maintaining accurate financial records
* Filing and organizing financial documents
* Assisting with Month-End and Year-End Processes
* Supporting the preparation of financial reports
* Assisting with journal entries and accruals
* VAT Returns and Compliance
Profile
The ideal Accounts Assistant will be someone who is willing to commit to a short term temp role of initially 4 weeks, with the view to extend that at the end of the initial period.
