What You’ll Do
* Design a mixture of digital and analogue circuitry for cutting-edge medical devices.
* Create flex-rigid PCBAs to maximise functionality in space-constrained devices.
* Optimise designs for usability and battery efficiency, ensuring long-lasting performance for users.
* Develop innovative electronic designs using Altium or similar ECAD tools.
* Translate user needs into robust technical solutions.
* Drive verification and validation activities to ensure safety and compliance.
* Lead technical reviews and champion best practices.
* Support production and sustain legacy products while managing component obsolescence.
* Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and EMC standards.
* Explore emerging technologies and integrate them into our roadmap.
* Build strong partnerships with suppliers for quality and timely delivery.
* Contribute to Hazard Analysis and DFMEA for electronics.
What We’re Looking For
* Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
* Proven track record in electronics design engineering.
* Hands-on experience with:
* Altium or similar ECAD tools
* Schematic design, DFM/DFT
* PCBA debug, test, and integration
* EMC countermeasures/testing
* NPI and product sustaining
* Knowledge of global quality/regulatory standards and risk management.
* Ability to design complex, real-time processor-controlled architectures.
