A highly regarded client is looking for a Supply Network Manager to lead and optimise supply planning operations across their expansive BU Africa footprint. This role is ideal for a driven professional who thrives on complexity, stakeholder collaboration, and delivering measurable commercial value through intelligent supply chain solutions.
The ideal candidate will bring strong supply planning experience, advanced analytics capabilities, and a deep understanding of supplier performance management. This is a high-impact role that integrates strategy, execution, and cross-functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead supply planning and optimisation across multiple regions and brands
2. Manage raw material and finished goods inventory in alignment with demand forecasts and working capital targets
3. Coordinate supplier capacity planning, risk mitigation, and contingency strategies
4. Oversee 3PL performance to ensure reliable and cost-effective delivery
5. Collaborate with Procurement, Marketing, Finance, and Franchise partners to align supply strategy with business goals
6. Develop and monitor supplier performance matrices and improvement plans
7. Contribute to new product and promotional planning by ensuring smooth supply transitions
8. Drive automation and digitisation initiatives to enhance planning processes
9. Lead weekly cross-functional meetings to assess tactical execution, risks, and future actions
Key Requirements:
10. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (B.Eng preferred)
11. 7–9 years’ experience in supply chain planning and logistics management
12. Proven ability to manage supplier performance and implement supply strategies
13. Strong commercial acumen and data-driven decision-making skills
14. Advanced Excel proficiency and comfort working with complex data sets
15. Experience with cost-to-serve modelling and supply chain digitisation
16. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
17. Able to thrive under pressure in a high-complexity, multi-stakeholder environment
