We are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team based at SERC Lisburn, a world leading facilities management company.
The Role
* Working as part of a team, provide efficient and friendly service to customers, assisting with all aspects of food preparation and presentation to high quality standards.
* Comply with HACCP regulations and all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards.
* Maintain a hygienic and tidy environment; keep tables, accompaniments and counters clean and adequately supplied during service.
* Check deliveries and food temperatures, complete records and operate the till as required.
* Report defective equipment, utensils, work surfaces or any health and safety issues to the Line Manager.
* Communicate effectively as part of a team and, when needed, work independently with initiative.

* Previous food handling experience
* High levels of personal hygiene and appearance
* Attention to detail in all aspects of the work

* Basic statutory training requirements: reading, writing, speaking and listening to understand safety and work instructions and communicate with customers
