Job Title: Mechanical Estimator
Location: Kent
Salary: £60,000 Per annum
The Role:

Review and analyse tender documentation, issuing RFIs where necessary
*
Prepare enquiries for equipment and specialist subcontractor packages, including selecting appropriate supply chain members
*
Attend and contribute to pre-, mid-, and post-tender meetings
*
Review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for compliance and best value
*
Liaise with electrical estimators and subcontractors to ensure fully comprehensive submissions
*
Produce detailed tender review packs for presentation at internal adjudication meetings
*
Follow up on submitted tenders and assist in project acquisition
*
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and the supply chain
*
Participate in project handover meetings with the operations team upon successful award
*
Maintain a strong working knowledge of mechanical systems and estimation best practices

The Ideal Candidate:

Has 5+ years of experience in mechanical estimation within an M&E environment
*
Has previously worked on projects with values over £2 million
*
Thrives under pressure and can meet strict deadlines
*
Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
*
Is able to commute to Kent
