Teaching Personnel is seeking an experienced part‑time Teaching Assistants to support Early Years, KS1, and KS2 classes across primary schools within the North Somerset area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support learning across Early Years, KS1, and KS2
• Assist with classroom routines and promote positive behaviour
• Provide targeted support to pupils of varying abilities
• Help deliver learning activities set by the class teacher
• Offer emotional and wellbeing support to pupils
• Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
• Follow safeguarding, health & safety, and school policies at all times
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
• Experience working with children
•A Strong understanding of primary-aged pupils’ learning needs
• Confidence supporting across different year groups
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (guidance available if needed)
• Enthusiasm, patience, and an ability to build positive relationships
• Adaptability and ability to work effectively in a range of classrooms
• Experience working with children with SEND requirements
• Experience with PECS and/or Makaton (highly desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
