Hours: 35 hours per week. 8:00am - 4:00pm with 15-minute break and 45-minute lunch, both unpaid.

Role Overview
A primary HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) role is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in children’s education, drawing on your commitment to developing pupil learning ability and knowledge accessibility. HLTAs provide essential class cover in the school and run interventions to support children’s learning.
Working closely with class teachers, you will help children expand their knowledge and play a positive role in school life. You will utilise your knowledge, creativity, listening, and communication skills to help children understand the information presented. You will provide varying levels of individual attention, reassurance, and support with learning tasks as appropriate to each child's needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide planned and reactive cover for classes from Reception to Year 6.
* Provide feedback in books through marking.
* Support children who need additional help with their work.
* Facilitate interventions to support children with additional needs to catch up and keep up.
* Assist with school trips, events, and outings.
It is important that the candidate has a good understanding of the emotional needs of children with autism, ADHD, and attachment issues.
