Job Description:
You will be responsible for:
* Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence, with specific risk responsibilities.
* Ensuring all Tesco sites are safe and functional environments for customers and colleagues.
* Following the planned work schedule to achieve first-time fixes, maximizing productivity and effectiveness.
* Delivering high-quality work standards across the estate, with year-on-year improvements.
* Working closely with team members, sharing best practices and knowledge.
* Using problem-solving skills and innovation to identify and develop solutions for key and common issues.
* Owning tasks locally through to completion or resolution, informing stakeholders as required.
* Developing through the maintenance pathway.
* Using business systems to support asset lifecycle management through WON reporting.
* Representing the Tesco brand, demonstrating values-led behaviors, a positive attitude, and pride in wearing the Tesco uniform.
* Attending local and national meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
You will need:
Operational Skills:
* Completion of a recognized apprenticeship, improver program, trade proficiency test, or relevant trade experience.
* Basic diagnostics: PCB/Microprocessor, HMI-controlled systems/equipment.
* Electrical safety circuit knowledge, fault finding, and replacement skills.
* Full driving license.
* Health & Safety awareness.
* Communication & stakeholder management skills.
* Office 365 proficiency.
Relevant Experience:
* Trade experience or completion of a recognized apprenticeship or improver program.
* Proven experience in maintenance, engineering, or construction environments.
* Digital confidence in operating mobile phones and tablets, viewing workload, emails, Teams, and business systems.
