Finance Administrator – SAP
Milton Keynes
Part Time Role – 17.5 hours per week
£28,000–£32,000 FTE
Are you a Finance professional with strong SAP and Excel skills?
We’re working with a well-established business in Milton Keynes seeking a Finance Administrator to join their small, friendly team. This is a part-time position (2.5 days per week) This is a varied role covering Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank Reconciliation, Month-End Journals, and Admin Support.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Timely and accurate processing of AP invoices with correct authorisation and SAP coding
2. Credit control duties including chasing payments and issuing statements
3. Monthly reconciliation of large customer self-billing accounts
4. Preparation of monthly and quarterly AR reports for Head Office (Netherlands)
5. Bank reconciliation, cash book and petty cash control
6. Processing of employee expenses (credit card and cash)
7. Month-end journal entries and payment runs
8. Supporting annual statutory audit and HMRC filing requirements
9. General admin including holiday tracking, stationery control, and signing-in sheets
10. Ensuring accuracy of SAP data and supporting other departments with financial queries
Person Specification:
11. Minimum 5 year’s experience in a similar finance role
12. Strong working knowledge of SAP and Excel
13. Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
14. Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
15. Able to work independently with minimal supervision
