We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established client who are looking to appoint a Junior Quality Inspector or Trainee Quality Inspector to join their Quality team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to learn, develop new skills. and build a long-term career in mechanical engineering within a supportive and experienced team. Full training will be provided, and you will learn how to inspect mechanical components, understand engineering drawings and support the wider quality and production teams. Junior Quality Inspector – Key Responsibilities
Assist with inspecting incoming mechanical parts against engineering drawings and specifications
Support in-process and final inspections of components and assemblies
Help identify and report any quality issues, working with the team to resolve them
Learn how to read and interpret technical drawings, measurements and tolerances
Accurately record inspection results and quality data within the company system
Assist with maintaining calibration records for inspection equipment
Support goods-in and goods-out checks when required to help keep production running smoothly
Work closely with experienced engineers and inspectors to develop your knowledge and skills
Junior Quality Inspector – What We’re Looking For
An interest in mechanical engineering, manufacturing or quality
A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
Good attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
Basic computer skills
Good communication and the ability to work as part of a team
