Marketing & Leasing Assistant
We have a fantastic opportunity to work in a hybrid role where both your responsibilities will be a pivotal part of the team and centre’s success. This position is divided in marketing responsibilities, such as providing marketing support to both the manager and the marketing team to deliver compelling campaigns and activities to drive footfall and ensuring the best customer experience in-line with the centre’s annual marketing strategy. The position will involve a broad range of customer-focused marketing tasks, where you will work collaboratively within the centre management team and work with several large and small retail and leisure tenants at the shopping centre in Hatfield.
The role is intended to be a hybrid role, dividing time between Marketing and an Leasing role. You will also be responsible for generating interest from both local and national retailers and leisure operators to take inline units and mall space.
The successful candidate will need good communication, organisation and negotiation skills. We are seeking someone who has strong digital marketing experience and a solid understanding of AI.
What the day to day will look like;
* Successfully working within the on-site management team to support the delivery of the centre’s annual marketing plan in line with the overall centre strategy.
* Assisting in the delivery of events, promotions and customer service to achieve marketing objectives
* Working closely with the retail liaison manager to keep centre production updated in internal and external customer areas and ensure high standards are kept at all time
* work with the on-site management team and external marketing consultancy to deliver the centre’s digital marketing activities across website, email CRM, digital media screens, and social media channels
* Maintaining and updating the website
* Developing content ideas for the centre content plan, including retailer activity, and driving customer experience and footfall
* Ensuring all collateral produced for brands, visitors, local community stakeholders, community partners, colleagues or commercial partners, is in line with brand guidelines and sign off is through the correct approvals process
* Track, analyse and report on all marketing activities and insights on a monthly and weekly basis
* Build strong relationships with the centre retailer community through regular face-to-face visits raising awareness of marketing campaigns
* Drive and adopt a proactive approach in searching for new retailers and leisure operators to join the centre

What are we looking for:
* Junior marketing experience, assistant level with strong communications and customer service experience
* Experience using online social media and marketing platforms for managing work tasks and the evaluating the success of work
* Excel in customer experience and understand retail or hospitality
* Knowledge of the local area
* You can use a full range of Microsoft 365 applications inc. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
* AI experience
* Reliable, helpful, on time and well presented
* Represent the team and be a Brand Ambassador
* You can work in a friendly but fast paced team, alongside other departments or alone
* Good written and verbal communication
