At our site in Haslingden, due to continued growth and an ever-increasing workbook, we are looking to bring in more Machine Operators to our Extrusion and Conversion departments. A company that takes pride in the products they provide to multiple industries, this is an excellent opportunity for the successful candidates. This is a permanent, full-time position working a 4-week shift rotation pattern. To be considered for these positions, you must be able to work 12-hour shifts on both days, nights and weekends. A breakdown of the shift pattern will be provided prior to any interviews taking place. You will be paid weekly in arrears for hours worked the previous week and there is shift allowances on top of the basic rate, again, this detail will be provided to you. What will the role entail * Setting and operating machines, working on a production line * Regularly checking machines during operation to ensure the highest quality of product is produced * Labelling and packing items ready for dispatch * Conducting quality checks of the finished products * Working to deadlines and production targets * Completing paperwork and reporting any defects * Following standard operating procedures * Following health and safety procedures at all time * Wearing the necessary protective clothing when required What are we looking for * Any experience working in Extrusion is desired but not essential as training will be provided * Machine operator experience that demonstrates you can follow standard operating procedures * You must be flexible and able to work the shift pattern * A team player who also can work off their own initiative * Attention to detail, someone who takes pride in their work * Must comfortable working long shifts, most of which you will be standing * Health and safety conscious Addition Benefits * Overtime paid at 1.5 * Weekly Pay * Company Bonus Scheme (Based on performance, paid up to twice yearly) * Employee Assistance Program * Employee Referral Scheme * Full time contract straight away We are looking to discuss the role with all suitable candidates as soon as possible.
