In this key role, reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager will play a vital part in enhancing our client's finance function's performance. This position will involve guiding and supervising overseas teams responsible for Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Bank Reconciliations. The Finance Manager will also ensure that accurate and timely financial reports are distributed to the business, while supporting the Head of Finance in crafting strategic insights for senior management to help realise the Group's vision. This is a Hybrid role with 3 days a week in our office in Paddock Wood. Key Responsibilities: Management Accounts Fixed Assets Accruals Prepayments Intercompany reconciliations Loan reconciliations Financial Planning & Analysis: Analyse actual vs budget performance with detailed variance commentary Conduct profitability analyses by customer and present findings to the management team Collaborate on stock reporting including turnover, holdings, aged stock, and risk assessments Cashflow Reporting: Prepare cashflow forecasts using data from the Bank, AP, AR, and Sales Pipeline Identify potential cashflow risks and report to the Head of Finance and CFO Payroll Management: Oversee the collation and processing of monthly payroll for both salaried and shift workers Engage with external payroll providers to verify the precision of payroll calculations Treasury: Provide advice on necessary intra-company cash transfers Support various Ad Hoc Projects (e.g., R&D Claims, Finance System improvements) Ensure compliance with statutory reporting (VAT, PAYE, P11d, ONS, etc.) Staff Management: Oversee and ensure accuracy in the offshored AP and AR functions, including daily processing and bank reconciliations Requirements: Professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA is desired Proficiency in Excel is critical Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary Excellent organisational skills, punctuality, and capacity to handle multiple projects simultaneously Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
