We are seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) job vacancy, Bootle, Merseyside.

Location
This position is within easy commuting distance from Bootle, Walton, Anfield, Kirkby, Aintree, Litherland, Seaforth, Liverpool and surrounding towns and villages.

Benefits
1. Salary: £25’915 FTE, Actual Salary for Term Time only £22’300 per annum
2. Hours: Monday to Friday, Term Time Only.
3. Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
4. Contract: Permanent.

Duties As an HLTA You will be joining an exceptional team in a Specialist Early Years Education School, for young children aged 4-11 years old. This school provides education to children with Special Education needs, including Autism ASC / ASD and Disabilities (SEND). Make a real difference in their lives, helping them achieve their full potential in a positive from a young age.
Support class teachers to enhance student learning and attainment.
9. Encourage student independence, self-esteem, and problem-solving abilities.
10. Assist in planning and delivering engaging learning activities.
11. Working with individual students, groups, or whole classes under the teacher’s guidance.
12. Follow the school's marking and assessment policy to track and report on student progress.
13. Provide exciting learning experiences that help students reach their potential.
14. Be a role model and manage support team members in the classroom.

Criteria
15. A recognised Teaching Assistant qualification or higher.
16. Experience working with children with Specialist Educational Needs.
