Our client, a long-established and respected UK manufacturer, is seeking a hands-on Health & Safety, Environmental and Facilities Manager to lead the charge in fostering a positive safety culture while driving their Environmental and Sustainability strategy forward. Key Responsibilities: * Maintain compliance with all HSE legislation and internal policies * Develop and implement Health & Safety procedures, audits and training plans * Conduct and review risk assessments across all operations * Lead accident investigations and implement preventative actions * Oversee Environmental & Sustainability policies and strategic initiatives * Manage facilities to ensure standards, safety and cost-efficiency * Mentor and support an Environmental & Sustainability Coordinator * Report regularly to the Board on key H&S and environmental matters * Conduct Company inductions and support cross-functional collaboration What we’re looking for: * NEBOSH (General Certificate) and COSHH trained (required) * 3 years of H&S management experience * Proven background within Food Manufacturing or environmental and facilities management * Strong communicator with excellent report writing skills * Knowledge of root cause analysis, first aid practices and H&S law * Ability to influence at all levels, with a collaborative approach * Full UK driving licence (required) * Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available) This is a pivotal role within a business that takes its responsibilities seriously.
