We're Hiring: Senior Sourcing and Supplier Manager – 12 Month FTC Location: Remote Department: Procurement Hours: Monday - Friday 09:00-17:30 Overall Purpose of the Job: Deliver effective sourcing and third-party risk management ensuring that goods and services are sourced cost effectively and third-party risks are managed within the IT category Key Accountabilities: Strategy and innovation
1. Support sourcing plans for renewals, new contracts and supplier selection.
2. Support the P&P strategy and development plan.
3. Track market innovation and leading capabilities.
4. Present sourcing and supplier options clearly.
Stakeholder Management
5. Manage stakeholder relationships and support needs.
6. Promote the value of partnering with P&P.
7. Influence stakeholders and budget holders to follow policy.
8. Present sourcing recommendations to aid decisions.
Team Management
9. Support procurement development and deputise when needed.
10. Embed company values across the team.
11. Help shape operating plans.
Sourcing
12. Own category spend and deliver savings.
13. Source goods and services to policy and best practice.
14. Manage sourcing risk through effective contracts.
Third Party Risk Management
15. Support the third-party risk framework across the lifecycle.
16. Maintain third-party risk tools and templates.
17. Ensure exit strategies for high-risk third parties.
18. Embed third-party risk management with BRMs.
19. Develop training and guidance for BRMs.
20. Manage key third-party relationships and issues.
21. Ensure delivery, performance, value and innovation.
22. Provide commercial support for key projects.
Governance and Reporting
23. Ensure third parties meet standards and regulations.
24. Maintain governance forums for sourcing and risk.
25. Keep category records accurate and up to date.
26. Report category activity against savings targets.
Experience
27. Senior category management experience, ideally in Financial Services.
28. Experience leading sourcing and complex negotiations.
29. Third-party risk management experience.
30. Strong contractual and commercial knowledge.
31. Experience in fast-paced environments.
32. Strong negotiation skills.
Knowledge
33. Strategic sourcing best practice in category.
34. Third-party risk best practice, ideally in Financial Services.
35. End-to-end policy and process development.
Skills
36. Strong communication, presentation and influencing skills.
37. Proactive in identifying supply chain innovation.
38. Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
39. Degree preferred; CIPS or equivalent is an advantage.
