The Role:
As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, your primary duty will be to support students with various needs, which may include SEMH, Autism, or complex learning difficulties. You will:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support to help students engage with learning.
* Assist the class teacher in creating an inclusive and accessible classroom.
* Help to implement individual education and behaviour plans.
* Foster a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment.
What You Will Need:
* Previous experience supporting children or young people with Special Educational Needs is essential.
* A patient, calm, and caring nature.
* The ability to build trusting relationships with students quickly.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
* An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to apply for one.
