Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Insight work
Proactive use of multiple data sources to create insight including:
1. Market data – Future trends, cultural impacts and commercial trends
2. Consumer – Behavioural measures such as Kantar, Nielsen, Mintel, Bespoke Qual & Quant work
3. Shopper – behavioural data sources such as Dunnhumby & advantage, IGD and Bespoke Qual & Quant work
4. A supportive role to help deliver mixed methodology insights projects with the Insights Manager – UK Lead as and when work required
Influencing business approach
5. Creation of insight to shape marketing and R&D programmes through thorough report writing and communication of content
Methodology approach
6. Use of mixed methodologies to drive the best outcomes for insight derivation when supporting the team
7. Finding the hidden insights across multiple data sources by creating a validated story and creating a clear action plan for the business based on the outputs
8. Identifying gaps in understanding along the Path to Purchase and working with team and partner vendors to plan how to fill this understanding
Criteria/Competencies:
CPG Experience
9. Working within a fast-paced CPG environment that covers Grocery, Specialists and Online
10. Working alongside Marketing, R&D and Cat Man to deliver innovation across product and marketing comms
11. Working with marketing leading brands to enable growth from a leadership position as well as challenger brands
