About The Role
We are recruiting for a Maintenance Stores Assistant to join our engineering team based at our site in Barton-upon-Humber. The role will be from Monday to Friday, 07:00 - 15:30.
Key responsibilities of this role will include:
1. Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers
2. Maximise stock availability through buying the correct quantities based on forecast
3. Work closely with the Engineering Team to maintain stock levels to keep machine downtime to a minimum.
4. Liaise with other departments to keep up momentum on key development projects
5. Ensure spare parts information is maintained and correct
6. Maintain supplier KPI’s
