Elevation Procurement & Supply Chain are delighted to be partnered with a leading energy generation organisation in the search and selection of a Senior Procurement Manager, within their developing and transitioning Procurement function. Senior Procurement Manager (6 month Contract) London, UK Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior Procurement Manager to join our team in London on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in procurement and supply chain management, with the ability to lead strategic sourcing initiatives and optimise procurement processes. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with organizational goals. Lead and manage the procurement team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance. Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and evaluate supplier performance. Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to achieve cost savings and quality improvements. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement solutions. Monitor industry trends and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Analyse procurement data to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction. Provide support to the Procurement Team, ensuring that they have the skills necessary to undertake their responsibilities and where necessary provide training directly or through the appropriate avenues, including briefings and the preparation and issue of guidance notes Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in procurement management, preferably in a senior role. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Strong leadership and team management skills. Effective communication and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in procurement software and tools. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Professional certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS).
