We’re currently seeking a passionate and reliable Assistant Chef to support the Head Chef in preparing fresh, high-quality meals that cater to a variety of dietary needs in a warm and supportive environment. Key Responsibilities: * Assist in the preparation and cooking of nutritious meals for residents, ensuring presentation and taste meet high standards. * Work closely with the Head Chef to plan menus that meet residents’ dietary requirements, preferences, and medical needs (e.g., soft diets, allergies, diabetic-friendly options). * Help maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, complying with food safety regulations at all times. * Ensure food is prepared and stored correctly, following HACCP procedures. * Support the smooth running of mealtimes, including food service when required. * Assist in stock control, rotation, and ordering under the Head Chef’s guidance.
