Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, ensuring the well-being of patients through effective assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. This position requires a commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare services while adhering to the highest standards of practice.
Duties
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and needs.
* Develop and implement individualised care plans based on patient assessments.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Monitor patients' conditions, documenting changes and reporting any concerns to the medical team.
* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment plans.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
* Maintain accurate patient records in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
* Uphold infection control measures and promote a safe environment for patients and staff.
Skills
* Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology to inform patient assessments and care strategies.
* Proficient in medication administration, including understanding pharmacology and potential side effects.
* Good knowledge of catheter care, PEG & syringe drivers is required.
* Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy, patience, and effective communication with patients from diverse backgrounds.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in all aspects of nursing practice.
* Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a fast-paced environment.
