Breedon GB has identified that marketing is a key area of improvement that requires focus and resource. To provide this focus, we require a Marketing Executive to support the development, delivery and measurement of marketing activities for the business.
Working closely with the Head of Marketing & Innovation and the Marketing Manager for Breedon GB, the Marketing Executive will play an important role in shaping and delivering the marketing plan to achieve our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting to the Marketing Manager – Breedon GB, the role spans the breadth of marketing responsibilities and activities and acts as:
1. A key part of delivering the Marketing Plan for Breedon GB
2. A driver for increased customer engagement and developing customer understanding of the Breedon product, service and solution offering.
3. Partner to the regional teams and commercial teams to provide required marketing support
4. Marketing lead for Welsh Slate, Breedon Special Aggregates and Breedon Minimix
5. A driver for marketing excellence
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
6. Support Head of Marketing & Innovation and Marketing Manager in the development and delivery of the Breedon GB marketing plan
7. Effectively communicate the Breedon product, service and solution offering to our target audiences
8. Develop creative briefs and guide creative direction to develop high quality content and marketing campaigns that engage and resonate with our target audiences
9. Support the development and maintenance of a marketing customer contact database
10. Organise events such as trade shows and exhibitions
11. Define necessary marketing collateral to support regions, commercial teams and GB business units
12. Understand customer insight and trends, market analysis and marketing best practice and incorporate into rationale for marketing plans
13. Measure and evaluate performance of marketing activities
14. Management of Purchase Order process to support marketing spend within agreed budget parameters
15. Develop case studies and testimonials
16. Marketing lead for Welsh Slate, Breedon Special Aggregates, Breedon Minimix
17. Support new product and/or service launches
18. Support with updating and maintaining content across our websites
