Location: Lincoln, Kettlethorpe LN1
Pay Rates: £12.50 per hour.
Shift Patterns: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm, with 30min paid break.
Own transport is Essential due to location!
Barker Ross is currently recruiting for Labelling Operative for our client specialising in products for agriculture, horticulture, forestry, amenities, and landscaping.
Based just out of Lincoln, this is a temporary ongoing position… with the potential to join the company following a successful probation period.

Job Purpose:
The Labelling Operator is responsible for accurately applying labels to bottles, boxes, pallets, and chemical containers in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. This role ensures that all products are correctly identified, traceable, and ready for distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
· Apply labels to bottles, boxes, pallets, and chemical containers according to company specifications.
· Verify that labels are accurate, legible, and correctly placed.
· Inspect packaging materials for quality before and after labelling.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety and hygiene standards.
· Follow handling procedures for chemicals and ensure proper labelling of hazardous materials.
· Report any labelling discrepancies, damaged materials, or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.
· Assist in maintaining labelling equipment and replenishing label supplies when needed.
· Adhere to all workplace safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Qualifications:
· High attention to detail and accuracy.
· Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
· Basic understanding of safety requirements when handling chemicals (training provided).
· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
· Previous experience in packaging, labelling, or manufacturing (preferred but not required).
Physical Requirements:
· Ability to stand for extended periods.
· Manual dexterity for handling labels and packaging materials.
