Senior Technical Architect – Public & Private Sector Projects • Studio: London (hybrid, three days in the studio and up to two from home) • Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 depending on experience Vertical are representing a leading, award-winning architectural practice celebrated for its work on both contemporary and heritage buildings. The opportunity Join their London team as a Senior Architect with a focus on complex, technically demanding projects. You’ll be involved at every RIBA stage, from concept to completion, coordinating closely with clients, consultants, and your own project team. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives on detail and enjoys balancing multiple workstreams while maintaining the highest design standards. What you will do • Lead and deliver projects across all RIBA stages • Manage a small team and mentor junior staff • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure excellence in every detail • Contribute to a collaborative studio culture that values knowledge sharing and innovation What we’re looking for • ARB-registered Architect (or equivalent) with around seven years’ post-qualification experience • Strong technical and detailing skills with proven ability to deliver complex projects • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and NBS • Sound knowledge of UK Building and Planning Regulations • Experience working on existing buildings; conservation expertise is a plus • Excellent communication skills and confidence leading client and consultant relationships Why join The studio offers hybrid working with three days in the office and up to two from home, along with a generous benefits package including increasing annual leave with service, life assurance, paid professional subscriptions, study sponsorship, sabbatical options, an employee assistance programme, and more.
